At least 18 people were killed when a plane with 21 people aboard, including many foreigners, crashed in a mountainous region in northern Nepal.
“Seven men and four women died. Police reached the spot and rescued two children and four adults,” he told AFP police spokesman, Binod Singh, no other details.
Company Agni Air plane crashed into a mountain near Jomsom, an area known for climbers located near the Annapurna mountain range.
“The plane was about to land at Jomsom airport. He hit the side of a mountain and is now built,” he said, adding that six survivors, including two children, were saved.
Singh could not specify the number of foreign passengers on board, while the agency Press Trust of India reported that four Indians are among the dead.
According to police spokesman, the plane carrying 18 passengers and three crew members.
