50 Cent was injured in a car accident early Tuesday morning on New York’s Long Island Expressway, but fret not: The rapper is going to be OK.
Pictures posted on the MC’s official website show the star wearing a neck brace and being carried on a stretcher and wheeled through the hospital.
According to ThisIs50.com, 50′s SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck.
The rapper’s SUV reportedly almost flipped over, and the truck driver supposedly told police that he lost control of his vehicle.
Fortunately, 50′s rep confirms that he has been released from the hospital and is doing fine.
“He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries,” his rep tells E! News in a statement. “He was released this morning and is doing fine.”
The rapper was just in the hospital last month after suffering from a stomach virus. And as hardcore as he might be, he wasn’t averse to having a stuffed giraffe, elephant and lion keep him company in the hospital bed.
