Mary Richardson Kennedy, wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was found dead in a barn behind his house in Westchester, New York.

Mary Kennedy, found hanging from a housekeeper, was 52 years and was the mother of four children, aged between 11 and 17 years. Mary and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. were married in 1994 but broke up two years ago. In May 2010, her husband filed for divorce.

Mary Richardson Kennedy had problems with alcohol for years, and separation from her husband swept it, notes the Daily News. In February, Mary was even admitted in an alcoholism center. It seems that these problems are leading to suicide.

“He seemed lost in the last days,” said a neighbor.

“It îngrizitor. Was my best friend. Whole family is in shock,” said Kerry Kennedy, Mary’s sister in law.

A representative of the family of Mary Kennedy confirmed its passing away. “We regret the death of our beloved sister, whose creative spirit will always miss people who have kept at it. We are with her ??children, whom he loved very much,” Mary’s relatives sent.
