Dry the River are an English folk rock band formed in East London, 2009.
The band formed in Stratford in 2009, they played their first headline show at the Luminaire in Kilburn in April 2010.

Since this time the band have toured extensively in the United Kingdom, Europe, and have branched out considerably far to include North America, Spain and elsewhere in their worldwide tours.

After two EPs and significant early radio support from BBC Introducing, the band signed to Transgressive Records in 2010. They released their debut single, “No Rest”, in March 2011.
